While I rarely take the time to draw or paint, when I do, I remember how much I enjoy it. I used to do it all the time when I was younger and my mom is an amazing artist (http://www.artsonia.com/museum/gallery.asp?exhibit=465755). Here is a recent creation of mine. It is a pencil drawing from memory of a desert landscape around Indian Creek. It was at dusk with the towers in silhouette and a glowing blue sky. The sky was painted using paint pens while waiting out the snow in Joe’s Valley. Although the landscape was from the desert, the sky seemed to take on the mood of the snow storm in Utah. I hope these little creations become habitual.
